Paul Harrison (Executive Chairman) has over 20 years’ global work experience in environmental conservation. He is a director of biodiversity advisory firm, Kilimanyika and an award-winning sustainable timber company, Sound and Fair. He is former United Nations Development Programme staff, where he set up and co-ran the Global Wildlife Programme. His work has led to the financing of several hundred million dollars into global conservation efforts, enabling the conservation of vast wild habitats, plus providing nature-based solutions for community managed lands, particularly in Africa. Paul is a member of the WWF UK Programme Committee, the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Paul has an MSc. In Tourism, Environment and Development (2001) and a BA (Hons) in African Language and Culture (1999), both from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and a is a fluent Swahili speaker. He is currently undertaking an Executive MBA at Warwick Business School.
